What are the benefits of using cement tile vs. ceramic ?

Cement tiles are hand made by our artisans, using eco-friendly materials such as: cement, sand, and natural color pigments. Our tiles are not just quality floor products, but are expressions of art.

Extremely durable Cement tiles last for generations. Our tiles have long-lasting use and get more vibrant over the years. This is why they can be used in high traffic commercial areas as well as in your home.

Technical characteristics Cement tiles have a high thermal mass and hold temperature extremely well. Installing cement tile floors contribute to keeping your home cool in summer and warm in winter, helping you reduce heating or cooling costs!

They can be used anywhere! Cement tiles are used on countertops, kitchen backsplashes, fireplaces, bathrooms, residential, commercial and anywhere you desire. Make sure your visit our specifications for sealing, installation and taking care of your tile.

Easy to care for on a day-today basis! Cement tiles are very low on maintenance. What are the common applications of cement tiles?

Our tiles are easy to take care of making them a great choice for residential, high traffic areas such as commercial, outdoors and/or indoors spaces. They are also perfectly suited for foyers in period homes.

Can cement tiles be used in bathrooms?

Of course! They can be used on both floor & wall applications. However, special care should be applied for outside applications to avoid thermal shock.

Avoid using any acids or bleach chemicals to clean the cement tiles.

Can Cement Tiles be used Outdoors?

Of course you can. However, it is recommended to apply a special sealer for long term care. With all outdoor applications, please note that the fading color may happen over a long time due to the UV from direct sunlight.

Can cement tiles get stained?

Original Artesano supplies pre-sealed cement tiles, offering superior waterproofing ability and thus  high quality tiles. We always encourage re-sealing your tiles during installation process.

Please note that accidents may happen and your tile might get stained even after sealing. Stains should be treated as soon as possible. Spills of soda, wine, food etc. should not be left to sit on the tiles, since they can eventually penetrate through the sealer and stain the tile. Before attempting to remove the stain take time to understand how the stain might have come.

NOTE: Never use strong acid cleaners on tiles.

Can we make your custom pattern sizes and designs?

Of course, we can. Send us your unique design pattern and size -- our artisans will work closely together with you.

Minimum order 50sqft.

If you happen to be an architect, designer or a young art student and desire to create a unique patter, submit your design to our email. We are happy to receive proposals.

How long does it take to make an exclusive sample?

Our lead time: In Stock Available patterns: 3-5 days/ sample plus additional shipping days.

New pattern: 7-10 days/ sample plus shipping days.

We can shorten time if special request is received.

Can you expedite my order for custom designs?

If our standard 6 to 10 weeks lead-time does not meet your requirements and you must have the tile sooner a rush charge may be added to expedite your order up to 2 weeks.

Shipping And Refund Policy

What should I do as soon as I receive my tile?

Immediately upon delivery please review the shipment for accuracy of materials ordered, including quantity, quality, and color, and for any shipping damage. Contact your sales representative immediately if any problems exist. All claims must be presented in writing to Original Artesano.

Any damage that is apparent upon delivery must be noted on the freight carrier delivery receipt. All products leave our warehouse in perfect condition but if you notice torn or damaged boxes, or any signs of mishandled shipment, please note this by writing a detailed description of the damage on the Delivery Form presented to you by the trucking company/LTL Carrier driver for signature before signing.

If the damage is severe, we recommend you refuse the shipment entirely. All claims for damaged or broken merchandise must be made through carrier. Material should be installed by pulling from all crates or boxes to insure optimal blending of shade variation. No adjustment can be made once material has been installed.

All products leave our factory in good condition and properly packaged. Unless otherwise indicated, orders are shipped to USA warehouse. All claims for damaged or broken merchandise must be made through carrier.

Where do you ship?

We ship all over the world. However, prices shown on website are strictly for USA delivery. Contact us for delivery outside of the USA.

What is your return policy?

All claims regarding your order pertaining to color, design, quality, or quantity must be resolved prior to installation. All claims for product returns must be made in writing within 5 days of receipt. Returns must be made in original packaging, with no marks. Freight is responsibility of customer. No claims will be accepted for any reason after installation.

Custom/Non-Stock (special) orders: No returns will be accepted. These orders are non-cancelable. Stock orders (after shipment to customer): No returns are accepted after 90 days. Returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee, plus freight to and from the shipping location. Stock orders (prior to shipment to customer).
